Lovely bit of tech
Firstly, let me make this clear. This is NOT an ear thermometer. It is a forehead one only. The listing was slightly inaccurate on that score. Having said that, this thermometer works very well. I have to keep an eye on my temperature due to my needing immuno supressant drugs which reduce my ability to fight off infections so when I feel ill, I can have an instant result (by instant, I mean within 3/4 seconds) It is far easier to use on another person rather than myself as I have to look in a mirror to get the right spot to test. The thermometer did come with instructions but I never needed to read them as it is so easy to use. Press one button to switch between body heat to ambient heat. Dependant on where you use the thermometer in a particular room will give differing results. The higher the thermometer, the higher the temperature and the lower down, vice versa. This is s good indicator for someone who feels hot and they can check the room temperature to see if it is that causing the hot flush. Batteries included, comfortable to hold and use. Just what I need
